A space without a story is a dead space. - No matter how beautiful and glamorous a space is, if there is no story happening in that space, it is like a dead space. This is not to say that it is useless because the movement lines are twisted inconsistent with the purpose of the space or stories that have to take place do not occur, but just that 'nothing is happening now'. For example, the ruins of the 'Gonjiam Mental Hospital' as we know it, is this really a dead space? I don't think so. Not many people go to physically experience it, but we know the story of it. The story there is constantly recreated on the net or on the snow. Not only the physical space, but also the stories accumulated from the past and the stories that are empty in the present but floating on the Internet change the story of this space. For me, this is still a living space. - On the other hand, consider an abandoned abandoned house in the countryside. The experience of 'I don't know anything about this' means that the story of the past does not know how it is used in the present state and the content of the time axis used. So, I would say this is a dead space. - Conversely, it might be a little easier to understand. It is a saying that 'to live and flow for a long time, a powerful story must flow through time in space.' - The space that contains that powerful story is today's space. My argument, which has been preached for a long time, is not a physical concept, but a thought concept. Although there is an object called 'building', it is 'people', that is, 'story' that completes the 'space'. - This is a fun place. It can be said that Gyeongju in Gyeongsang Province is similar to this place. A small town is sandwiched between historical sites, and the height of the buildings is low and dense like in Gyeongju. A small stream flows through the village. And many people pass by the narrow road in front of this space. I ride my bike to my destination and stop by this place to grab a coffee. The cookies here are said to be made with wheat flour from Gongju's willow mill. Eggs are the local eggs of Gongju Uidangmyeon. There is a bookstore on the third floor. There are magazines covering the culture of the local community. And the villagers gather and chat for a long time in a thin plastic tent. Some young people passing by stop by for a moment to drink coffee and talk, while others sit in front of the river and enjoy the sunlight. - In a way, a radical and unique 'architecture' that does not suit this place at all. However, it contains a very strong story based on the region. It was expected that this place will continue to build up many stories as the foot prints of the people here. The story of the owner who tried to use the empty space next to this cafe, which had no tables, to be used alone for cafe customers, made my heart flutter. - The best way to have what you have. People who were occupying space with the logic of life, not the logic of the economy. After a while, I found a space that fits the grain. Nice to meet you and thank you. - This is the #FrontCoffee #BlueprintBook, a space complete with the stories of the people of the Gongju village. - Location _ 55 Jemincheon 1-gil, Gongju-si - Business hours _ Mon, Tue, Wed, Thu 08-18, Fri, Sat, Sun 12-18 [LO 17:00] - Parking _ Appropriate parking according to the village situation - Menu attached do.
