Songpa Book Museum
Songpa-gu, Seoul • Culture
For the first time, Songpa residents were envious. This is because the Songpa Book Museum is nearby. Songpa Book Museum is the first public book museum in Korea, where you can look back on the past and present of books and get a closer look at the process of creating a book. From the permanent exhibition room to the special exhibition room, a large-scale reading space, an open studio, and a children's studio, various spaces are organized under the theme of books, so that even those who have never been very interested in reading can rethink the value and meaning of books. All the spaces were well laid out, so I stopped for a while wherever I went, but among them, the space that reproduced the writing rooms of leading writers in the domestic literature world, such as Jeong Yu-jeong, Kim Hoon, and Lee Byung-ryul, drew attention. It was a meaningful time to resonate with their worldview for a while through the collections that they could write in a delicious way, such as manuscript papers, drawing maps, reporting notes, cameras, and books. ✔️ add. 77, Songpa-daero 37-gil, Songpa-gu, Seoul ✔️ insta. @songpa_bookmuseum ✔️ Closed on Mondays
