Magpie & Tiger Sinsa Tea Room
Garosu-gil, Seoul • Cafe
90 minutes of hearty TEA-TIME focusing solely on tea and myself The #MagPie and Tiger Shinsa Tea Room is a neat and quiet space with dark and soft lighting, low-pitch meditation music, a long black table and only white silk. Only four teams per hour are operated by reservation system, so you can enjoy tea in a quiet and spacious space. From classic single origin teas such as Yunnan white tea and Hadong mugwort tea to lemon green tea shaken tea, mugwort affogato, and matcha beer, there are many variations on the menu, so you can meet tea more familiarly. If you choose tea, the tea sommelier brews the tea directly on the table and carefully brews the tea. The charm of tea that calms the mind and body just by looking at the car being unloaded. Young Hadong Mugwort Tea has a subtle yet fragrant scent, so I brewed it over and over again, and it's caffeine-free, so I don't have to worry about caffeine. I tried all kinds of desserts, but I liked the sweetest tteokbokki sweets with seasonal mugwort flavor and red bean paste, which are the least sweet. The rice cakes are baked in the oven, crispy on the outside and soft like a pound cake on the inside. If you have a grandma's taste like me, the pairing of Hadong mugwort tea and tteokbokki sweets is not bad. Let's leave our hustle and bustle behind for a while and meet here to drink tea and read a book. It's okay to just focus on yourself without saying a word here.
