보마켓 서울로점
Jung-gu, Seoul
The 112-year-old post office still carries the news. The most famous space in Seoul Station. A space older than Culture Station 284. And in the past, this was a post office that delivered news to neighbors. Although lifestyle shops and restaurant cafes now fill this space, it still serves as a space for news. One of the few stone buildings left in Korea. The shape of light felt in the space will be a new appreciation. - Older Seoul Station than old Seoul Station, 112 years old - It is a neighborhood that climbs up a hill behind Seoul Station in Malli-dong. This hilly neighborhood gives a completely different impression from the neighborhood in front of Seoul Station. Seoul Station with huge recognition in the city. The space of Seoul Station is clearly divided into the front and back as much as the recognition is strong. It is only now that there is #Seoullo7017, so there is a way to connect the space orthogonally to Seoul Station, but it is also true that it is not as strong as the perception of Seoul Station. I'm also the boss, so I can't help it. - By the way, even if you look at the topography and the type of building, the front and back of Seoul Station are quite different. In front of Seoul Station, commercial space and office space were mainly, but Manri-dong, which is behind Seoul Station, is mainly residential, and is a type of leisure activities or small commercial spaces. - The author's preferred neighborhood is in the back rather than the front. I prefer this land, where residential and commercial spaces are well blended, giving a glimpse into the lives of the locals. As it is also the beginning of the artist's long career, I can't help but like it more subjectively. - Anyway, today's space is a small space in that favorite neighborhood. And since it is a stone building of a style that is difficult to see easily, I wanted to experience the space. - If you take Seoullo 7017 and cross over to the back of Seoul Station, there is a small triangular hill that you arrive at. If you turn back at the end of the road, you will see today's space. Even from a distance, quite hard and thick stones are attached to the exterior of the building. And the emerald colored windows give the point. During the day, the lifestyle brand Bo Market and the brand called Berry Kitchen are with the space at 17:30. As the days are getting longer these days, even if you arrive slowly with peace of mind, it is 17:00. After savoring the space with a simple drink, try eating burritos from 30 minutes. - Since the stone building has a thickness on the exterior, the light entering the window has no choice but to have a sense of depth. In a word, a more dramatic light comes in. The wooden desks and stools that received the light are like my heart waiting for a meal. The heart that wants to be excited but gentle. - After the meal, we had a short chat with the owner of the space. - It is said that this was a post office built in 1909. There was such a pretty space in 1909, and moreover, it had been holding this place for 112 years. Maybe it's more of a hometown feeling than Seoul Station. Such an old man is still guarding this position and silently playing a role in a different way. The place that used to carry the news has now become a place to share the news. It's a fun space. - This is Changsin-dong's owner #Bomarket Seoullo #Berry Kitchen. - Location _ 205, Mallijae-ro, Jung-gu, Seoul - No parking - Business hours _ Berry Kitchen 17:30-22:00 [closed on Sundays], Bo Market 10:00-17:30 - Menu is attached. - PS.
