__Magok Seoul Botanical Garden ⠀ Korea's first botanic park ⠀⠀⠀⠀ The Seoul Botanical Garden located in Magoknaru is Korea's first, largest and best botanic park (a place where a botanical garden and a park are combined). The park, about 70 times the size of a soccer field, embraces the Seoul Botanical Garden, which resembles a flower bud, and exudes the fragrance of noble life in the heart of the city. Here, there is a vision to increase the value of plants through research, development, and conservation, and to reach out to citizens and awaken their ecological sensibility. The Seoul Botanical Garden, located in the center of the park, presents visual pleasure in a unique form. The flat cylindrical shape is implemented as a truss structure, so the triangular window opens sharply like a reptile scale, and the white iron structure that looks like a flower bud feels like a fairy's silk, so it's mysterious for nothing. The honeycomb ceiling is finished with ETFE (special vinyl that has higher transmittance than glass and is resistant to contamination), which was also used in the Beijing Olympic swimming stadium, which is another highlight. It also shows the wit of decorating the exterior of the elevator connecting the ground and the roof garden with a motion panel with a honeycomb structure. It was a precious place where you can feel the vitality of the park with every step you take. The strong challenge of yielding this huge scale to the plants in Seoul, the golden land, the skillful touch that made the park, which had been rushing to match the assortment, become a local landmark, and the altruistic result of prioritizing publicity and education over economic feasibility. A big round of applause ⠀ 🐔🐔🐔🐔🐤(4.5) ⠀ #instagram #instagood #design #space #architecture #insighttrip #seoul #seoulbotanicpark #threerooster #static electricity #travelstagram #insighttrip #architecture #spacetour #seoul #magoknaru #seoul Botanical Garden #Magok Seoul Botanical Garden #Like
