The best way to feel the season is to be close to nature. No artificial creature dares to surpass it. However, isn't an attractive island that has been touched by people from the past artificial to natural things, and is surely the most convenient and beautiful place to enjoy autumn? Cafes and restaurants on the island would have opened their terraces now and let in autumn. - To feel the seasons. - All spaces exist for humans. You could say 'zoo aquarium, botanical garden' isn't, but if you think about it clearly, it's for humans rather than them. As such, space is for humans, and a city is a huge mass of space where humans are densely populated. Also, space includes squares, sidewalks with sidewalk blocks, subway stations, and under bridges, but most of the buildings are made of complete concrete. It is much closer to the image of a city. It is difficult to fully feel the seasons in the city. Those who are highly sensitive and have great empathy can rejoice, saying, 'I have to carry a thousand-won bill with me' inside through the thick scent transmitted through the chilly air on the way home from work, but for most people who live in cities, I think it would be more sympathetic to say 'It's desolate' rather than living feeling it. Behind the gray splendor, there is something that humans in the beginning instinctively felt and enjoyed. - That 'the seasons change' - this is very important. It is a phenomenon that has existed since the time when the concept of time did not exist. This was a very important factor in determining the type of space people maintained in their lives, and at the same time, it was a great criterion for changing the form of life as well. Past seasons can be said to be like this. There is no such thing as modern. However, rather than changing the form of life to survive when it gets colder or hotter than in the past, activities have progressed beyond survival and enjoying the time and season. These days, people feel that play may be the reason why humans have evolved. - In this context, today's story is the urban greenery where you can best feel the seasons in the city. - Seasons are the concept of space and time that are indispensable in human life. Being able to feel and live it acts as an important factor in improving the quality of life. You can tell by simply looking at the cost of space in a city with a park that is much more expensive than elsewhere. As in cities, green spaces have a special meaning and act as public goods. Although it functions as a defense against the urban heat island effect and various noises and pollution, the biggest reason is that it is a public space where you can fully feel the seasons in the city. Cherry blossom viewing in spring. In summer, sit on the Han River under the green trees and enjoy your summer away from afar while looking at the splendor of the city on the other side. In autumn, they step on fallen leaves, and children and their parents put laughter flowers at the sound of the explosion, and in winter, they lay them on a white snowy field, and their loved ones become the protagonists of the space. Among the green spaces in the city center, city parks do just that. Among the parts of life that takes place in the city, the warmest and most humane stories appear as the background and raise their 'quality of life'. - Among those spaces, if there is one that I love, it is this 'Seonyudo Park' that I introduce today. - Seonyu-do, which was a water purification plant in the past, and 'Seonyu-bong' since the Joseon Dynasty, has existed for a long time and has maintained its place in Hanyang and present-day Seoul. Perhaps because of the space that served as a water purification plant for a while, huge frames that can only be seen in water purification plants and filtration plants remain intact, showing a different appreciation for being in harmony with the vegetation here. A dead factory is full of life. Paradoxical words like this come together to create a fantastic impression. That sentiment is known by many city dwellers in Seoul, and many people visit it depending on the season. A picnic in the blooming flowers in the spring, the wind blowing across the bridge and a wonderful night view in the summer. In the fall, many kinds of vegetation return to their true colors. We come here to enjoy the appreciation. For those who visit this place to enjoy alone time abandoned in the space in search of quiet silence, 'Where am I now in the flow of time?' Take some time to think about the answer to that question. - To feel the season and enjoy it. - This is an indispensable story in the lives of city dwellers. Humans are said to be animals of reason, but to add a joke to them, they also maintain reason with feelings of joy and ecstasy. The greenery of the city ends here. thank you. - Location _ Seonyudo Park (Yanghwa Bridge) - Hours of Operation _ Daily 06-24 - Parking available - Ps. Seonyudo in autumn is highly recommended.
