Cafe de Chelsea is a new large cafe in Gimpo. Recently opened on the way from Gimpo to Ganghwa, this bakery cafe boasts a large garden and indoor space. Please note that the outdoor terrace on the 2nd floor or some areas cannot be used as it is currently temporarily open. You can feel the atmosphere emphasizing a glamorous and antique feeling rather than a simple and plain style, and the appropriate table spacing and beautiful lighting create a good mood for a weekend outing or a holiday morning. It has a good sense of openness thanks to the high floor height, and the fact that you can see the outside through the window is also attractive.

The interior is operated as an outdoor terrace on the 1st and 2nd floors and the 2nd floor, and there is a space full of green plants like a warm greenhouse on the 2nd floor. The staff were also very friendly, and the outside felt a little unorganized, but the inside 1st and 2nd floors were a good place to spend leisurely time. If you want to take a break without straying too far from Seoul, Caffe de Chelsea seems like a good candidate.

I ordered an Americano, and the acidity of berries came into my first taste and I could feel the rich and savory taste. It's a suburban cafe, so it's not cheap, but personally, the coffee wasn't as bad as I thought.

The music of Caffe de Chelsea is colored with piano pieces. The harmony between the view through the window and the music is good for the antique feel. Fortunately, the music doesn't disturb the space, but I think it would be better if the music volume was turned down a little bit. I would like to add a sense of relaxation to the space with songs without vocals like now.
