Myeongdong Sukhee, located on the 4th floor of the Starbucks building next to Myeongdong Cathedral, is the 2nd branch of the bar Sukhee located at Euljiro. Unlike the Euljiro branch, its entrance presents more of a speakeasy bar vibe, but once inside, you are greeted by a spacious interior. The interior, ornately decorated and inspired by the Geunjeongjeon of Gyeongbokgung, perfectly reflects the traditional style of the palace. With the friendly owner and bartender Mr. Soo-won Lee, skilled bartenders and professional-level chefs, they are always warmly welcoming guests. The distinct feature of the Myeong-dong branch has a kitchen inside the bar that offers unique, dining-level dishes at reasonable prices. If you tell them your preference for cocktails or whiskey, they kindly recommend something suitable. If you have a favorite cocktail, you can ask for different bartenders to make it and compare.
