A special space faced at an unexpected moment
"Makjip", an exhibition space where hanok and houses are arranged in a mysterious way, looks like it was made by freezing old buildings, but it stands out as special as a barracks bowl made by a craftsman.
Unsurprisingly, this space is a work of Architectural Research Institute Cho Byeong-su, the designer of “Queen Mama Market (currently House Dosan)”, which I would like to have if I became the owner of the building, which I personally want to visit on-ground and on-ground across the street. to be.
It has a very different feel from the usual architectural style, which is cut very sharply, but still has a sense of depth. Considering the themes of previous exhibition projects, it was possible to get a glimpse of the desire to share diverse tastes with the public with a consistent storyline.
A space that exhibits architecture, not creations, has come up with a very new story. I now have a clear reason to go to Seochon more often.
