Seoul Museum of Craft Art
Jongno-gu, Seoul • Culture
We introduce not only crafts that have passed on for a long time, but also the works and stories of craftsmen who continue their craft activities today. Through this, we felt that we wanted to provide an opportunity to reflect on the past of crafts and bring traditional crafts closer to our lives by linking the present craft activities to the past and present.
It is certainly a joy that the world of traditional crafts, which is still living with us but has not received enough attention, has come to us in such a natural and comfortable way. With the opening of the Seoul Craft Museum, it is hoped that our traditional elements will be incorporated into furniture and artworks that are increasingly in the spotlight.
*There is no parking lot, so it is recommended to use a large public parking lot such as Gyeongbokgung Palace or the National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art.
