This is the second exhibition after the opening of Thadeus Lopac Seoul, 'Flowers', a solo exhibition by American artist Alex Katz. This exhibition, which includes not only works that had never been introduced before in the flower series that the artist has been working on for the past 20 years, but also portraits set in nature, is meaningful as it is the first exhibition in Asia to focus on only one genre of work. It provides an opportunity to look into the artist's world of work ahead of Alex Katz's large-scale retrospective scheduled for this year at the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum in New York in 2022.
