Coffee found on the climb of life
-
Rugged mountains, the Himalayas, and Everest are the mountains most people know. The climbers who conquer these peaks are well known to the general public by Captain Um Hong-gil. Today's space is a mountain experience center in the city park to commemorate Captain Park Young-seok, who was his junior. Seoul Mountain Culture Experience Center and Terra Rosa Coffee are together. What does climbing a mountain make you think? Break through the limits and reach the top! How do you get to the top after a sense of accomplishment? For them, the story is even more important. There is 'Employmentism' and 'Employmentism'. Will you aim for conquest? Will you be a pioneer who finds new paths and creates new conquest courses? becomes an important agenda for them. The late Captain Young-seok Park insisted on 'the back road'. He is a person who placed great importance on conquering mountains and creating new paths in difficult ways. [According to the stories we hear from time to time, there is also a theory that they are forced to schedule after receiving excessive support for mountain marketing]

What is the experience you felt while climbing a new road with the expedition members other than the road made by people? Space reveals it. This space where a small tent seems to have been expanded, or maybe the huge mountain peaks have become smaller. As a huge chunk of concrete is thrown down, whatever comes from its heaviness is a sense of awe at the scale felt in nature. If you enter the space through the gap in the mass, you will find the base camp. The first space you enter is a huge cave. It is the beginning of an expedition. This place sells coffee, a potion for modern people, like a mountain lodge or item shop where the characters in the game can warm up before going on an adventure. It's also very tasty coffee, and there is a brand called 'Terra Rosa' that climbs the mountain in search of space. Unlike the existing Terra Rosa, like the space of a mountain lodge, it does not provide numerous breads and various types of coffee. As it is the space in front of this huge adventure site, we prepare a limited number of breads and drinks. It is full of impressions like the beginning of an expedition from this. The space usually ascends and weaves the synesthetic scenes that are felt. The light that penetrates through the crack climbs the huge stairs from the crevasses in the ceiling, and you can feel the basic experience of climbing, 'Oreum' from the place overlooking the camp. At the end of the ascent, there is a cliff that intuitively captures the climbers ascending the mountain. All the scenes looked down at the end are replaced by the experience of 'conquest' through the sequence.
-
It is accompanied by an exhibition about mountain climbing, and a coffee shop called Terra Rosa at the end of the climbing center. After experiencing the mountain climbers' path with their head and body, they can imagine their life with coffee.
-
A kind of cultural space created in a city park full of waste recycling facilities called Nanjido. It is a unique composition. In general, the spaces with these facilities are all related to them, but this space is uniquely nested in this urban context. But people are full. A unique and well-prepared program and a suitable brand are together, and they are fulfilling their role as if the location and location do not matter. The space itself shows success in a new way, like a mountain climber.
-
I look around the mountain along the outer surface of the uneven space. We deliberately experience the cold weather along the rough road, and briefly feel their attitude toward mountaineering, even a little. Head back to the warm base camp through the cavern. Instead of having convenient facilities, try a cup of hot coffee and bread to replenish your stamina under the slanted walls and shallow penetrating light. The display of climbing equipment hanging on a part of the space is rather reduced to a symbolic device rather than a decorative element. Through the visual communication with the mannequins hanging from the cliff as they come along the stairs, the souls of the high climbers can be seen overlapping. What were you thinking?
-
Was it their cry not to cling to conquest, but to put the soul into the process? Today's story ends by imagining a message that resonates with those left behind in the times.
