It was October 30, 21, and it was a cloudy and overcast day.

Garosu-gil was a quick stop to buy clothes that fit her bloated body. I'm not the type of person who enjoys buying clothes, so I wandered around for a while, unable to overcome the curiosity about how the urban organization of Garosu-gil would change. Among them, I found a building that stood out in particular. A new building for anyone to see. I really liked the way the space is stacked one by one at an angle, the outdoor stairs and the heavy brick finish. In anticipation of what kind of space would come in, I still took pictures of the empty space. Then, I remember that I went to Arquet faithfully for the purpose of going out, bought a pair of pants, and went back.

The address I searched for on a map that came to my mind often was supposed to contain an art and culture space called 'Fifty Fifty'. Days when I was very much looking forward to the thought of 'Is there going to be a good art museum in Garosu-gil?' Time passed and I heard the news. I don't know if it was a word used at this time, but it literally meant 'I rather like it'. A coffee brand called 'Conflict Store'. As a coffee lover, I was very happy. I want to be a space after the underground Garosu-gil branch and the Jamsil branch. Still a myriad of different types of coffee. Enjoying coffee and writing down. Suddenly, I wondered how the other space would have been filled.

On the first floor, a brand called kollect put beautiful things into the space. The peculiarity of this building is that it contains a cylinder in the middle. There is a huge cylinder inside, which is now being used as a staircase. When the space became more and more interesting, the building I was looking for was a remodeling rather than a new construction. This cylindrical cylinder is called the elevator room in the former building. The remaining brick walls are again used as a space for vertical circulation accompanying the functions of the past, penetrating the entire building and taking its center. Based on the cylinder, the space spreads out layer by layer as if drawing concentric circles. The different sizes are stacked up, so an outdoor staircase is created. The unique outdoor stairway provides a view that is hard to find on Garosu-gil. In Korea, outdoor stairs are not easily used, so they have a special existence. Due to the climatic nature of Korea, which is four seasons, we cannot easily use the outdoor stairs, but it is very rare to find a place that provides a spatial experience beyond the function of evacuation to the front of the main road.

Anyway, keep going up the cylinder. Shared offices entered the 3rd and 5th floors. The first floor doesn't get much light, but from the second floor, you can see that the light is coming in. Of course, the space on the 3rd and 5th floors will be well lit. Such a sunny, heavy brick office. I haven't been inside, but wouldn't it reflect my taste pretty well? wanted

The 6th floor is again a cafe. I was able to imagine the space on the middle floor that I had never seen before. It is a space filled with light. And the outdoor stairs are exposed. The orange chairs and neat tables match the orange bricks and blend well with the appreciation of the space. Enjoy the afternoon sun with sweet pumpkin cake and tea. It's uncomfortable because you don't feel like you've seen the whole space unless you go all the way to the roof. I promise to come back before the tea cools down, and lift my hips and head towards the roof. The space on the raised roof is normal. 'Are the outdoor stairs going to go up to the roof?' It did not satisfy the expectations, but I had a feeling that it would be a valuable space for those who use this space every day as an independent space. Moreover, this impression looking down on Garosu-gil. still good I am already looking forward to the summer sunset in this town where the sun sets beautifully. I save the sunset spot that only I know of in my head.

Come back down and enjoy the warmth of the afternoon sun at your leisure. The building contains many stories. Each layer has its own story as if the area is different.
