Banyan Tree Club & Spa Seoul
Jung-gu, Seoul • Hotel
(See details of the room at the bottom of the article) Banyan Tree was somewhat a final boss to me, pledging 'I'll definitely go someday!' because the accommodation cost is higher than Signiel or Shilla Hotel. Then I had a fun day at the Banyan Tree, somewhat carried by the wind, feeling like touching a fantasy that it doesn't feel quite real. The entry-level room I stayed, Nam Mountain Pool Deluxe, costs over 1 million KRW per night (weekend + tax, underground parking). It was a quite different experience, feeling like I’d come to a ‘resort’ rather than a hotel. It was understandable why people who have visited the Banyan Tree once come again.
