Death stool


De Stool is a new cafe in Yeonhui-dong. Do you know Peter Pan Bakery in Yeonhui-dong, famous for its salt bread? Next to it, I went to the stool to announce the start of the provisional opening from yesterday. The roughness and freedom of the interior space, which is quite different from the feeling from the exterior, can be considered as the symbolism of this place. Leaving something alone can go one step further and become a design and a prop that creates the atmosphere of the space.

Inside the coffee bar, there are various seats in front, behind, and next to the coffee bar, and the coffee bar with ambiguous boundaries seems to create a more friendly atmosphere when talking with someone and delivering coffee. The staff's response was also very friendly, and as a side note, it was an honor for me and grateful to be able to enjoy the space with famous people who had heard stories through social media. Even if it is slow, I will always walk in the right direction.

I ordered an Americano with an acidic style, and I was able to meet a coffee with a floral and bright acidity and a green feeling.

I think it would be good to color De Stool's music with Lo-fi music. The vintage feel here is a bonus, and in this kind of atmosphere, it was a space where the closest answer to music would be Lo-fi. I hope the music will brighten up Death Stool a little more.
