Paraspara Seoul
Gangbuk-gu, Seoul • Hotel
One sentence that moved my heart.
'The only and last resort in Seoul'
such pride. excited after It makes my heart race and I scratch my card.
First off, our busy vacation lovers
I'll start with the conclusion.
[ I will go again next time ]
Let's look at why one by one.
1️⃣ Before that, it's fun once you know it.
Originally, this place was planned to be developed as a resort in Bukhansan Ui-dong. Construction was suspended in 2012 for various reasons. At that time, the completion rate was 46%. And left for 6 years. Samjung Enterprises appeared while looking for a place to continue business.
Samjong Enterprises established 'Sangsangbukhansan Resort', the developer for the development project, succeeded in raising funds and 'Parapara' was born.
So now I have to run it.
Shinsegae Chosun Hotel took over the consignment operation*. (*: The building owner entrusts it to a third party with hotel management know-how) Anyway, from our point of view, we expect not only a simple reservation network but also high-quality service, but the face-to-face service is a bit disappointing… However, this is a person by person, so let's wrap this up and get to the point.
2️⃣ The room 'Kevin' stayed in this time: Basic room type
If you look at the pictures, you can see buildings everywhere. Not all of these can be used. However, it is divided into general customers and members. Out of a total of 334 rooms, 110 are open to general customers.
Among them, the room I booked was the 'Kevin Room'.
It is considered the most basic type. If you look at the pictures of Parapara, there is a round building that you see very often, and the guest rooms are also in that building. (Some room types are located in different buildings. Please refer to this point) Basic room types, but spacious. From the bathtub to the terrace. When you go out to the terrace, you can feel the difference from the air.
Even the sound of flowing water and nature all day long. Thanks to this sound, it is possible to get a good night's sleep. I even think that this place will be even more chaotic when the trees are green or when the leaves are turning.
3️⃣ You can experience a day completely independent from the city.
Once surrounded by Bukhansan Mountain. Due to the height restriction, there are no high-rise buildings around us that block our view. just nature.
quiet and calm Even me, who likes to work like that, doesn't want to bring my laptop out of this place. The way to enjoy this hotel is 'what are you doing?!' It's just a quiet bruise to get out of that thought. This is enough.
4️⃣ This place is also famous for its swimming pool. Sauna is also GOOD.
This place is famous for its infinity pool. Originally, only members were allowed to enter this place. However, after checking the official website, if you stay before April 30th, you can enter for a fee of 2.2 per person.
Although it is not necessarily an infinity pool, there are outdoor jacuzzi and indoor pool, so there are many alternatives. (These two facilities are also located in the round main building)
However, I am not the type to use all the facilities in one day. Now that I use all the facilities, I feel tired the next day.. Anyway, I declared a 'pause' at Parapara here, so I headed to the sauna instead of the swimming pool. And the excitement and applause. If you go to Parapara, be sure to visit the sauna.
Parapara is definitely unique in Seoul.
Where else can you find a place at the foot of Bukhansan National Park and spend time quietly immersed in nature? Imagine what it would be like to accumulate wealth and use it as a second house. While making this content, I wondered what it would be like to go there in the summer. So, I made a reservation again in early July. Please note that weekend reservations must be made at least 1 month in advance so that you can get the room type you want.
