QC Spa is the newest addition to Governor’s Island! With its vast history and regal decor the spa is definitely a must place to visit. The spa is located near the ferry terminal closest to the Manhattan side. It was built in the old barracks but it’s transformation would make you second guess that fact. The spa is very clean and smelled incredible. So much so that I bought the scent they used in the ladies room. I had visited on the 3rd week they were opened so some kinks were being worked out but regardless I had the best time. They have outdoor heated pools that overlook the Manhattan skyline and throughout each floor you can experience wet/dry saunas, showers, infrared beds and rooms to relax, lay down & take naps. Each guest is provided a locker room, robe, slippers, towels and tote bag for their day at the spa. Bathing suits are required at all times.
