AC Hotel Seoul Gangnam
Gangnam-gu, Seoul โข Hotel
'It's okay' This hotel is summarized in this one line. If there is Hilton Garden in Yangjae, there is ac Hotel in Yeoksam.
01.
This hotel has room types with swimming pools. Awesome. This is a rare type of room in the middle of Seoul. This piqued my curiosity.
But how is everyone's information so fast? I clicked all July and September, but there was no room available for reservation. In the moment I was bored, I discovered that there was a 'sauna' in the facility information.
I made a reservation right away to try out the new hotel and hit the sauna. The room I booked is a premier room + breakfast included. 20,000 won per night. Now let's go to the hotel.
02.
Parking is valet. The parking fee is 10,000 won per night. There are two lounges on the first floor. Exclusive lounge access to reservations as a Marriott member. And for an additional fee, you can use the Premier Lounge.
The difference is whether there is a happy hour or not. The place I used was the Marriott members only lounge. Gangnam, Yangjae, Yeoksam, and Samsung are rare among hotels in this price range, but it is quite a welcome space.
In particular, it seems to be more attractive to those who have to stay in Seoul for a while for work.
03.
Allocated rooms on the 13th floor. A structure that fits easily into the smartphone camera screen. Was it designed to be photographed? It feels like people are able to voluntarily take beautiful pictures and carry them. Even the sofa in front of the window.
It is the moment that draws on how people will be photographed. It seems important to make the space itself a photo spot like this.
04.
Now, how about the view? Honestly the view from the Yeoksam location? didn't expect but reversed. Maybe it's because there aren't any high-rise buildings that stand in your way. Cooler view than expected. Namsan Tower in the distance. It has an unexpected charm.
05.
The room is not spacious. But it doesn't look boring. The reason is that you can divide the space of the room with a sliding door. The world is cozy if you leave the door open during the day and closed at night, and only the lamp on the stand is on. It's good to focus on something.
If you connect it to the TV with a chromecast and fall asleep while hitting YouTube, it's neat. It has been a long time since a central door in a room has felt so attractive.
06.
sauna. In fact, when I go to a hotel, I mainly work, so the sauna is like a charging station for me. It is difficult to find a place with a surprisingly spacious sauna among hotels around 200,000 won (weekends) + Gangnam/Yangjae/Samsung.
So it was even more enjoyable. Free entry for guests. until 11 pm. It would be perfect if you hit the sauna and hit a can mac in the room.
Fin.
AC Hotel was compact. There is no need to make a timetable for which facilities to use first. Instead of splendid facilities, it has 'Gangnam/Yeoksam'. If you want to work, go to the lounge. If you are tired, you can hit the sauna. If even that bothers you, it's good to stay locked up in your room and relax. It was a place where I thought it would be appropriate to do so.
