The taxi driver was right. 'Are you here for a visit?' he asked. 'Take the standard, not the crystal.' There are two types of cable cars: standard and crystal. The standard is 22,000 won and the crystal is 27,000 won, the difference being whether or not the floor is transparent. Thinking it was okay to just look out the window, my friend and I decided on the standard cable car. When we went up to board, the line for the crystal car was so long you had to wait and it takes six people at a time, but the standard cable car was empty, allowing my friend and I to comfortably make the round trip on our own. I don't know if we were just lucky that day, but as the taxi driver said, I definitely recommend taking the standard cable car! The weather was nice, and it was a very satisfying nature viewing.
