The Uffizi Gallery is a prominent art museum located adjacent to the Piazza della Signoria in the Historic Centre of Florence in the region of Tuscany, Italy.

If you love art and history then this is the museum for you! You can easily spend 2-3 hours roaming around the different rooms and looking at the ancient sculptures and paintings (from the Middle Ages to the Modern period).

I can recommend booking tickets in advance as these do sell out. Please note that the museum is closed on Mondays**
