'Lee Ungno's House', which I first came to know about during an architectural class tour

This land, where Goam had a passion for painting before he left his hometown, began as a museum and art museum commemorating an artist named Ungno Lee between the beautiful Yongbongsan and Wolsan, old villages and rice fields. By steadily expanding facilities and programs, it is transforming into a village that embraces new art and an art space that communicates with the village.

The exhibition space seems to have been connected to four different exhibition rooms in a long hall along the gentle foot of the mountain.

Through the gap between the exhibition rooms, the scenery of sunlight flows in and out of the hall all day long. The exterior of the memorial hall has a soft ocher texture, but it is a space where you can feel the tension in the inside hall.
