<Sulwhasoo Culture Project Gapsuri>
@sulwhasoo.official
'Gapgesuri' is a piece of furniture from the Joseon Dynasty that stores treasures, jewels, documents, etc. Sulwhasoo launched the 'Sulwhasoo Culture Project', which selected college students who were interested in traditional culture and design, and formed three teams of six people each to reinterpret the gab repair in a modern way.
There were a total of three works, and <Dongdong>, which reinterprets Gapsuri as a carrier, is memorable.
Humans move from the continent to the ocean, from the real to the virtual, and from the past to the present, expanding time and space. So, the concept of movement was also applied to the repair work, and I thought it was very witty.
College students have imagination but lack the capital to create real works.
Sulwhasoo supported the sustainable growth of young creators by providing an exhibition space at the Sulwhasoo Bukchon flagship store along with financial support for production and activity costs. Rather than simply providing financial support, I believe that this is what a big brand with capital and space should look like for coexistence. It is also clever to naturally reflect Sulwhasoo's identity here.
It is recommended to visit once with the heart of cheering for young creators.
