When it opened in 1927, Suzzallo Library at the University of Washington was pronounced “the most beautiful library on the continent, this side of Oxford,” by the Seattle Times. Now, nicknamed the “Harry Potter Room,” its light by 22 chandeliers, stained glass windows, a gothic style vaulted ceiling and hand carved oak bookcases that line its walls. Truly, a bit of magic.
