POPULAR CAFÉ GROUP OPENED THEIR SIXTH CONCEPT IN KATONG! ☕️🌌

Back in the East side again for yet another new addition to the coffee scene. Opened by the same folks behind atlascoffeehouse, theneptunesg and more, Supernova is their sixth concept, focusing more on a day-to-night concept with a good balance of coffee and natural wines. 🍷

The cafés under their belt all have names that are tied to astronomical elements; supernova being an explosion caused by a dying star. Well, we’re sure this star is far from dying, as they hit full capacity just an hour into their opening on Sunday. ✨The space follows a rustic contemporary style with some modern Victorian elements.

One dish that was highly raved by many is the 𝗙𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗱 𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗰𝗸𝗲𝗻 𝗙𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗵 𝗧𝗼𝗮𝘀𝘁. Homemade garlic butter is added on top the fried chicken, intensifying the juiciness and heavenly flavour. 🥹 The toast is a bit too chewy for our liking, would love something fluffier. Instead of just regular maple syrup, they added chilli to it, which is the first we’ve tried and we’re hooked. 🍗 There’s a ton of items on the menu that sounded pretty awesome like the 𝗕𝗮𝗸𝗲𝗱 𝗘𝗴𝗴𝘀 and 𝗠𝗮𝗹𝗮 𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗰𝗸𝗲𝗻 𝗕𝘂𝗿𝗴𝗲𝗿. They even have 𝗢𝗸𝗼𝗻𝗼𝗺𝗶𝘆𝗮𝗸𝗶 for their dinner menu.

Just like their other concepts, the coffee is a must-have! We had the Brazilian natural which has a heavier body for its process and a funky sweet aftertaste. The 𝗘𝗶𝗻𝘀𝗽𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗿 is creamy and smooth, with a rich milky taste. ☕️ We’ll definitely be back to check out their nighttime concept! 🌘
