Michelangelo Square was built in 1871, and in the center of the square is a statue of David erected to commemorate the 400th anniversary of Michelangelo's birth.

You can also see the Ponte Vecchio, Palazzo Vecchio, Duomo, and Giotto's Bell Tower at a glance.
