SINGAPORE’S OLDEST COFFEE ROASTERY OPENED JAPANESE-THEMED CAFÉ! ☕️🇯🇵

Earlier this year, Singapore’s oldest coffee roastery brewed up a media frenzy with their Japanese-themed café outpost, where customers can experience their coffee firsthand.

Located within their roasting factory compound in Jurong West, the place can be rather inaccessible without a car. Staying true to its heritage, the café decor has a ‘zen-like’ atmosphere with an indoor sōzu and wooden accents. 🎋🪵 Their menu is straightforward, focusing mainly on their coffee and matcha offerings.

We got the 𝗛𝗼𝗸𝗸𝗮𝗶𝗱𝗼 𝗟𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲, which uses fresh Hokkaido milk that gives the coffee a smoother, creamy taste. The roast has a mild body that emphasises on the vanilla hints from the milk itself. It’s a pleasant surprise to see our coffee being served with a Lotus caramel biscuit! ☕️🍪 They do also have filter coffee available for more serious coffee lovers, with unique seasonal selections that are rarely available. For non-coffee drinkers, they also have a Matcha and Hojicha options available.
