There is a place called 'Insta Holy Land' in a quiet alley of Gyeongbokgung Station. Among the residential areas, the ground floor of a comfortable, heavy, and stylish building is open. If you take a few steps inside, you will find a dense, small but dense forest. If you raise your head above a cylindrical forest deep like a well, you can appreciate the scenery of the sky and the spiral architecture.

Brick was used as the main material of the building, which shows the maximum potential that brick can show. When laying bricks, the bricks were connected with a steel tube that penetrates the brick hole, and a plastic gap was used instead of a joint between bricks to break away from monotony. The optical illusion of rippling waves appears, and I even think that it is more of a craft than an architecture. The garden in the lower part of the piloti, made with the first floor floating, gives the feeling of walking in the forest, and the natural light and the scenery of Jongno are rushing in from the third floor through the cracks and windows in the bricks.

The view from the bottom up is interesting, but the highlight is the view looking down from the terrace on the 4th floor, creating a truly mysterious feeling. Looking at the pond on the first floor, it feels like looking into a deep well, and you can enjoy deep contemplation and feel a subtle sense of space. There are some flaws that you can only see the exhibition, but I recommend that you go up and feel the sense of space when an exhibition that suits your taste is held. With the beginning of the rainy season, I wondered what it would be like to hear the sound of rain falling on the calm water under a deep well. If you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life for a while and feel comfortable, visit the ground seesaw.
