“In Search of the Lost World”

I watched this movie as a kid and was quite shocked. That there might be an unknown world under the earth where we stand now is a nonsensical story, but it was a fun and interesting topic for that child at the time.

This space that reminds us of this childhood is 'Sojeon Seorim'.

There is a restaurant and cafe on the first floor, so the fragrant coffee and the smell of food will stimulate your appetite. I can't even remember the word 'library' as it doesn't fit the image of the library reading room that we usually think of here.

From the stairway to another world, green light surrounds the space. This passage, which follows a beautiful curve, is mysterious, and as you go down the stairs, you find yourself in awe.

I couldn't hear any noises I heard on the ground, such as the sound of the coffee grinder on the first floor and the sound of tableware hitting, so I felt like I was left alone here in a different world.

Upon entering the main space, you will find yourself in a completely different space from the library we had envisioned. Wonderful chairs, interesting sculptures, and mirrored columns.

Like the image of a library, you can choose books leisurely in a cool, spacious space, rather than squeezing between the rows of bookshelves to find a book.

Just as the main character explores a mysterious world in an interesting way, there are also hidden spaces that make the exploration fun.

The narrow stairs between the walls allow you to discover the other books on the upstairs and there is no room for boredom.

Just as the blue bird in the movie shows the way, there are places that naturally catch your eye. The blue light coming through the window naturally leads people to the outside space.

Thanks to the external space in the basement, light illuminates the interior and makes this place, the library, more comfortable.

If the act of reading a book is to meet the author and explore another world, then 'Sojeonseorim', which means a forest of books surrounded by white walls, would be the perfect space for exploration.

Just as the main character returns home in search of diamonds, why not go on an expedition to find our favorite books and return to our daily lives?
