The Running Bean Mạc Thị Bưởi - Coffee and Brunch
Hồ Chí Minh, Vietnam • Restaurant
- 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗥𝘂𝗻𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗕𝗲𝗮𝗻 - Mac Thi Buoi - The name 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗥𝘂𝗻𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 I think is no longer too strange for those who like to shop and cafe like me and become even more familiar with coffee believers. TRB currently has 2 branches located at Ho Tung Mau and Mac Thi Buoi. Although I have also visited Mac Thi Buoi branch for a long time, it was not until today, on the occasion of the coming Christmas, that I had the opportunity to return to share some of my pictures and experiences here with everyone. .
🌟About the design of TRB - Mac Thi Buoi, is a relatively new branch, located on one of the busiest streets of Saigon at present, this new branch of TRB makes me really surprised about grandeur. Consisting of 4 floors, using cream white tones as the main theme with the interior is a mixture of wood and brown leather sofas to create a cozy feeling. On the upper floors, TRB has designed an outdoor space for those who want to smoke or like to watch the traffic pass by. I noticed that the height of the tables and chairs here is also quite suitable for anyone who comes to the shop with the need to run a deadline or work as well as read, the natural light and the light inside the shop is also quite adequate plus the table and chairs. It is also arranged reasonably, so it still creates a separate space for guests when coming here. TRB has also been very psychological when designing and arranging rows of tables and chairs to meet all needs, even if you go with 2 people or go with a large group, TRB will still have suitable seating areas. The staff are also quite enthusiastic, as soon as I walked in the door, someone immediately asked me how many people to go and guided me enthusiastically from choosing a seating position to suit my needs and choosing. Water or food dishes to suit your taste, for me, this is a big plus.
About TRB's menu is quite diverse including a full range of coffees, drinks, cakes and even full dishes. The menu I will post in the review of the dishes I use at the restaurant.
- & &
- These are the 3 dishes I use at The Running Bean - Mac Thi Buoi.

1️⃣𝗣𝗲𝗽𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗠𝗶𝗻𝘁 𝗠𝗼𝗰𝗵𝗮 - This is one of the new items on TRB's Christmas menu this December. This dish is a combination of espresso, chocolate, fresh milk and is specially topped with milk foam with ingredients from peppermint to create a refreshing feeling. Personally, I find this dish has a strong chocolate flavor, the fat of the milk and the coolness of the peppermint foam are clearly shown, the coffee taste is also fragrant and contributes to making this dish more delicious. This is a dish on the menu in December, so I think if you've been to TRB, everyone should try it.
2️⃣𝗖𝗮 𝗣𝗵𝗲 𝗦𝘂𝗮 𝗗𝘂𝗮 - This is iced coconut milk, mixed with coffee jelly and with a cup of Vietnamese filter coffee, topping is dried coconut to chew and chew. The crushed coconut milk is not too sweet, and has a strong coconut flavor, not too thin. This is a coffee that I think will not make you feel too heavy but still keep you awake.
3️⃣𝗦𝗮𝗶𝗴𝗼𝗻 𝗣𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗶 - Panini is a typical Italian sandwich modified to suit the taste of Vietnamese people with the filling including herb grilled pork, pan-fried shrimp, skin, lettuce, scallions and assorted Sour food served with sweet and sour fish sauce. I just want to say that if you are a fan of bread in Saigon, you should try this right away because it's so delicious everyone😂
🎁In addition, TRB is also having a gift set 𝗙𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗕𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗹𝗲, including:
• Set of 4 specialty coffee drip bags, quickly and conveniently so you can enjoy a delicious and authentic cup of coffee.
• Set of 4 handmade cookies from Le Petit: Florentine, S'mores, Coconut Dacquoise, Hollandaise Cookie, each with its own special flavor and identity.
• Hearty jar of cocoa mix with recipes from TRB baristas, a cup of hot cocoa served with marshmallows on top.
