Jung-gu, Seoul β’ Restaurant
Accidentally stumbled upon this Asian wine bar and it was a great success. Despite its name, it offers a wide selection of drinks including whiskey, highballs, kee soju (khee soju), and non-alcoholic options. I was curious about kee soju and was delighted to find it here. Unlike the cozy atmosphere I expected, the space is modern and urban, with a hip, cool vibe and excellent music selection, making you want to get slightly tipsy. Hungry at 2 PM, I couldn't resist a late lunch, which unfortunately meant I couldn't eat as much as I usually do. Our menu included: Scallop steamed dish (3 pcs), Shrimp dumplings, Octopus spring rolls, Raw rockfish in soy sauce, and Stir-fried lobster. Everything was delicious, making it hard to choose the best. Having higher-priced items like lobster and rockfish but ordering soju instead of wine made the price very reasonable. The pairing of kee soju with the food was great, and if not ordering special wines, opting for soju seemed a better choice. Definitely planning a return visit with more people. Reminds me of Flavortown in Seongsu but with a different charm. Highly, highly recommended. Enjoyed our meal π
