PREMIUM GROCERY STORE OPENS NEW CAFÉ IN ORCHARD! 🛒🍳

We’re all guilty of just walking aimlessly around supermarkets whenever we’ve got the chance. 𝗟𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗹𝗲 𝗙𝗮𝗿𝗺𝘀 is one of them, with their wide range of premium groceries from around the world; most of which we’ve never seen before! They just opened a new outlet in Tanglin alongside with a brand new café. 😙

We woke up bright and early to beat the morning crowd, but there were already people starting to pour in at 8 on a weekend. It’s a shame that this outlet doesn’t have an al fresco area, where most expats and dog owners would certainly prefer to dine at. We love the modern Scandinavian interiors, which felt as though we’re dining out for brunch in Europe. 🇪🇺

We got the 𝗘𝗴𝗴𝘀 𝗕𝗲𝗻 𝗼𝗻 𝗮 𝗧𝗼𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗖𝗿𝗼𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗮𝗻𝘁 where we were able to pick between Barossa Ham, Florentine, or Beetroot Salmon Gravlax. We chose the salmon which is kinda like smoked, except that it is cured only. Surprisingly, the salmon had a rich salty and fatty taste. 🍣 The croissant is a little burnt but still adds a nice crunch. The hollandaise isn’t overly buttery but creamy with a hint of lemon. 🥪 Their 𝗟𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲 isn’t the best to be honest, and the 𝗜𝗰𝗲𝗱 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗶 had a couple of sediments. ☕️
