BAKERY CAFÉ WITH A WATERFRONT VIEW IN THE HEARTLANDS! 🥐🍳

We’re here to clear Yishun’s bad rep and show you guys that there’s a hidden bakery with a gorgeous waterfront view that you need to visit. Just situated right beside Yishun Pond, 𝘀𝗹𝗼𝘄 𝗯𝗮𝗸𝗲𝘀 is a café that serves up fresh bakes and the traditional Singaporean breakfast. 🇸🇬

The café opens as early as 7am, but there’s already a crowd when we were there at 8. The dining area is open-air with an amazing view of the park just right beside. 🌳 The morning sunlight adds to the mood. 😌 The counter is stacked full of their fresh naturally-leavened pastries with the option of the traditional breakfast of soft-boiled eggs and toast.

We got the 𝗕𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗸𝗳𝗮𝘀𝘁 𝗦𝗲𝘁 with the 𝗛𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗺𝗮𝗱𝗲 𝗞𝗮𝘆𝗮 𝗕𝘂𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗧𝗼𝗮𝘀𝘁. The toast is kinda tough, but the kaya is fragrant and sweet with a rich buttery touch. 🍞 The 𝗚𝗮𝗿𝗹𝗶𝗰 𝗖𝗵𝗲𝗲𝘀𝗲 is potent, but that’s exactly how we like it - spicy and intense! 🧄 For a nice breakfast for two with an amazing view, we only spent a total of $14, which is super affordable! 🤩 Definitely a great place to hang out in the morning!
