Sushi Inomata
Saitama Prefecture, Japan • Restaurant
There are gourmets who go there, no matter where they are, as long as they can taste delicious food. Located in Saitama Prefecture, Sushi Inomata is a first-class sushi restaurant loved by such gourmets.
Despite the high prices, this place is also famous for serving only sushi without any tsumami. This is a passage that shows Taisho's strong insistence that 'at a sushi restaurant, you should only focus on sushi'.
On this visit, I encountered a lot of really precious ingredients. In Japan, wild-caught freshwater eel caught in Lake Biwa is the best. Both the golden-colored uni and wild-caught tuna caught in Tottori showed the best taste of sushi.
Inomata can be easily reached compared to sushi restaurants in Tokyo if you reserve a month or so. Kegani 毛蟹 sushi is especially famous in winter, so if you are planning a winter trip to Japan, try Inomata.
