Makan
Mexico City, Mexico • Restaurant
Makan, a trendy Singaporean restaurant in the Roma district of Mexico City, is known for its seasonal dishes with vibrant colors and wines, introduced by a chef from Indonesia. Its unique atmosphere, reminiscent of a tropical rainforest, and events such as DJing and cocktail parties held in the patio space, are particularly charming. Although the duck noodles tasted on the first visit were overly greasy for my liking, with coriander and lemongrass flavors that I personally found unpalatable, the space and service were delightful, making me fully intend to revisit. It is recommended to visit during cooler seasons since most seating is outdoors.
