I was very impressed by both the decor and the delicious food at this traditional Serbian restaurant which was actually featured in the 2022 Michelin Guide for Serbia!

Bela Reka, meaning White River, specializes in Serbian barbeque and meats roasted 'under the bell' but I only eat fish so I opted for the grilled Atlantic Sea Bream with potatoes, capers, and olives while my dad had Smoked Pork Leg with kajmak cheese on potatoes and crispy onion + bacon. We started the meal with complimentary lepinja (similar to pita bread) and cheeses from the restaurant's farm on Homolje Mountains. Our starter was grilled goat cheese and sweet chili jam. These were the perfect way to kick off the meal! 🥰
