Yeonhwajeong Library
Jeonju-si, Jeollabuk-do • Culture
A quaint library rest stop, "Yeonhwajeong Library," has emerged in the middle of Yeonhwagyo Bridge, crossing the lotus-filled Deokjin Pond in Jeonju. Built as a Hanok, the library harmoniously blends with the surrounding landscapes adorned with blooming lotuses. It offers individual seating as well as spots for enjoying reading while taking in the view outside. An excellent place for both Jeonju residents and tourists to spend serene moments with books on themes related to traditional Korean culture, Hangul, and Hanbok.
