Anthracite Coffee Seogyo
Mapo-gu, Seoul โข Cafe
Anthracite Seogyo is a quiet and charming space renovated from an old house. There's no music playing, allowing guests to focus on nature and coffee quietly. Instead of an espresso machine's mechanical noises, everything is offered through hand drip. There are ample spots suitable for using laptops, including large tables on the first and third floors and a coffee bar on the second floor. It seems to attract individuals needing concentration because it's quiet. I should visit again on a rainy summer day to enjoy the mood and work. ๐Outlets are not plentiful despite the large scale, so it's recommended to come fully charged! ๐ถAtmosphere: It's literally 'silent.' The absence of music mostly encourages quiet conversations. When I visited on a public holiday afternoon, the ratio of people talking to those working on laptops was 3:7. ๐ชTables, Chairs: Chairs and tables made of wood are at a suitable height for working. Many tables are shared. Operating hours: Daily 9-22 Menu and Price: Drip coffee 7.0, Moka pot latte 8.0 Public transport: 172m from Exit 1 of Mangwon Station Wi-Fi: Available but slightly slow!
