Midori Jeju
Jeju, Jeju โข Restaurant
Isn't Japanese cuisine interesting and attractive? Personally, after photography, I find 'cooking' and 'coffee' to be enjoyable. Among these, not only do I enjoy cooking myself, but I really love and find joy in going out to eat at delicious restaurants or having my favorite meals. This post features a Japanese home-style restaurant named 'Midori Jeju' located in Oedodong, Jeju. Among various food themes such as Korean, Western, Japanese, and Chinese cuisine, I prefer Korean and Japanese cuisine because I like the 'home-style meals' that come with various side dishes that are easy to enjoy. While I like both Korean and Japanese cuisine, if I had to choose one, I would currently pick Japanese cuisine due to my fascination with Japanese soy sauce. The sweet and savory base of Japanese soy sauce, unlike the saltiness of Korean soy sauce, seems so delicious and charming. The 'Butagakuni (Japanese-style braised pork)' I had here was definitely the best dish I have ever had with Japanese soy sauce. The meat and the soy sauce were indescribably good. For those who follow my stories, you might remember that I recently made Japanese soy sauce at home. I used ingredients like kelp, bonito flakes, sake, soy sauce, and ginger, and realized that Japanese cuisine requires as much effort as Korean cuisine. Another reason I love Japanese and Korean cuisine is perhaps because of the 'dedication' involved. From a certain point, when eating food, I started feeling a warm affection. And by the way, the cups here are really pretty! ๐#MidoriJeju (1st Floor, 5, Ureung4-gil, Jeju City, Jeju) โฐ 10:00 - 17:00 (Closed on Monday and Tuesday)
