The first generation master of Korean contemporary art, the late Jung Chang-sub, known for his mono-colored paintings, is currently being showcased at the PKM Gallery until October 30. This exhibition seeks to illuminate the deep artistic world and aesthetic achievements of Jung Chang-sub, who fervently explored genuine Korean modern art amidst the growing international interest in Korean art today. From the dak series in the 1980s, which regarded the traditional Korean paper as a companion in work, to the early 2000s Mukgo series that marked the pinnacle of his original and mature work, a selection of Jung Chang-sub's later art world is extensively made public throughout the gallery.
