Songpa-gu, Seoul • Cafe
A reference for an exemplary cafe. Living in Naksungdae used to be bearable, but after moving, the thought of visiting the neighborhood just doesn't cross my mind. Songpa-gu briefly shone with the fame of Songridan-gil, but was soon overshadowed by nearby neighborhoods. This year, with a reactivation of consumption, Songpa-gu has seen many cafes, including brunch spots, opening their doors. The cafe we're introducing today started its soft opening in August, a freshly minted cafe. Located in an alley between Seokchon Station and Songpanaru Station, Cafe Rep has been drawing in crowds since its opening with its unique coffee bar and proper music selection. The owner-designed chairs contribute to the cafe's aesthetic, and watching the baristas' performance makes you feel like you're an audience in front of a stage. The cafe offers not only common seating but also a private table, with the owner and staff's friendly service making a lasting good impression. Cafe Rep, named as such, stands alone as a noun meaning a social gathering to enjoy coffee and snacks. Regardless of its name, this place is sure to set an example among many cafes. This is Cafe Rep, a model cafe reference.
