Foreplan is a new cafe located near Ttukseom Station in Seongsu-dong, which is quickly gaining popularity among locals. Created by architects, the space serves as a cafe by day and a bar by night. The linear structure of the space provides a sense of stability to visitors, with eye-level bar tables and other attractive design elements. Opening early, it's beneficial for nearby workers, and it's too charming just for takeouts. The interior is divided into a coffee ordering area with bar tables and a main hall next to it, which feels quite like a coworking space. The staff were very friendly, and the guidance on the menu was great. The ambiance was satisfying, but the music selection was a bit disappointing. With intriguing collaborations or music selection, the architect-designed haven could enhance its mood further. The coffee options include two basic blends, with the Americano offering a slight acidity and the Latte a non-acidic style. Foreplan's choice of Electronic POP music felt mismatched with the space's wood and brick tones, suggesting that calm jazz or Lo-fi could be more fitting during the day, and jazz should be played at night. This feedback is intended to benefit Foreplan.
