Piko Coffee
Hồ Chí Minh, Vietnam
Piko Coffee - Ngô Đức Kế The small cafe nestled peacefully on Thao Dien street which once existed now welcomes its new branch located on one of the busiest streets in Saigon - Ngô Đức Kế street. The cafe will open on September 10, and upon hearing this news, I quickly grabbed my camera and rushed to the cafe to capture some photos to share with everyone. As for the design of Piko Coffee - Ngô Đức Kế, unlike the modest space of the Thao Dien branch, the new Piko Coffee branch now has 2 floors divided into 3 spaces to welcome more coffee enthusiasts. The interior is mostly made from wood material accompanied by yellow and orange lights throughout the 2 floors, so you will immediately feel the warmth upon your first step into Piko Coffee - Ngô Đức Kế. If the highlight on the first floor is the long bar counter arranged with many seating spots for those who like to watch baristas brew, then I think the main highlight on the second floor is the outdoor balcony area with the view of the greenery of the cafe. From here, you can watch the flow of vehicles and enjoy the breeze, especially in the evening when the air becomes cooler, making it an ideal area. Personally, I think with this design, Piko Coffee - Ngô Đức Kế is more of a place for people to meet, hang out, or date rather than a space for studying and working. Despite being located on the street front, the cafe has good sound insulation, creating a certain separation for those who need quietness inside. The cafe is very new and as far as I know, the staff here are also new but their service attitude is quite attentive and thoughtful, which for me is a plus point. The menu of Piko Coffee - Ngô Đức Kế includes a full range of coffee, non-coffee and various savory/sweet pastries to accompany. I will post the menu in the review.
