% Arabica Seoul Starfield Library
Samseong Station, Seoul • Cafe
The globally renowned third-generation specialty coffee brand '% Arabica' has landed in Korea. Having opened its first store in Hong Kong in 2013, % Arabica now operates 124 stores across 18 countries, including New York, London, and Paris. On September 11th, it began its operations in Seoul, Samseong-dong, Starfield COEX Mall, on the 1st floor of the Byulmadang Library. Inspired by coffee cherries hanging on branches, % Arabica is noted for its iconic % logo, modern and sensuous objets, as well as its smooth and simple shop design. The place features a clean, clutter-free interior in white tones, neat furniture, and an indoor ambiance that is cozy and warm thanks to the natural light pouring in through the windows. Known to coffee enthusiasts as a must-visit for lattes, their 'Cafe Latte' is an essential choice. Among them, the 'Kyoto Latte', with a small amount of condensed milk for a simultaneously sweet and bitter taste, 'Spanish Latte', and 'Matcha Latte', which are sweeter considering the Korean palate, along with 'Homemade Lemonade' made with freshly squeezed lemons, are available. Personally, I highly recommend trying the 'Kyoto Latte'.
