Unlike the Binh Thanh branch nestled deep in a large alley, the District 7 branch is located on the 1st floor of the Sky Garden 2 apartment building. It has three glass-walled sides not blocked by any other spaces, creating a very open view despite Cafe Luia’s not too large area.
The main space is dominated by white color, with some vintage-style decor items like bowls and plates, and a bit of color coordination in the tables and chairs. Although somewhat simple, it's refined and just right, keeping the inherent Korean vibe.
Cafe Luia operates true to the slogan at the entrance, "Turn off the noise of life", the cafe is quite quiet and is trained in accommodating the number of guests corresponding to the seating capacity. It makes me feel that Cafe Luia truly sells not just a cup of coffee but also a very complete experience.
Moreover, the signature Luia Latte of the cafe makes me exclaim incessantly because of its deliciousness, possibly the best Latte among the cafes I've experienced. Very fragrant with a clear coffee aftertaste, mixed with unsweetened fresh milk, creamy, smooth, the cream layer is rich in salty, slightly bitter and very creamy quality. Indeed, out of 10 customers, 9 would order the signature. If it's the first date and you're not sure where to pick a place that's not too noisy yet serves quality drinks, I would definitely recommend Cafe Luia!
