NEWLY RESTORED RAILWAY STATION IN BUKIT TIMAH! 🚂🛤

The iconic 𝗕𝘂𝗸𝗶𝘁 𝗧𝗶𝗺𝗮𝗵 𝗥𝗮𝗶𝗹𝘄𝗮𝘆 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 at King Albert Park has recently reopened with a fresh new look just yesterday! The station marks the halfway mark of the popular scenic route Rail Corridor, and is now revamped into a community space with their landmarks restored to its original look. 😁

We love the bright yellow service wagons that are now placed on the old railway tracks in front of the restored train station! These wagons were previously used as old maintenance vehicles, but are now photo props which stood out perfectly against the green foliage and a perfect morning sky. 🌳 The station is also restored to its former glory and now accessible to the public once again, with several nostalgic features such as the “772.25” distance marker. Put on a coat and get yourself a rural Taiwan railway station-inspired photoshoot, just without the nice cool weather. 🇹🇼

The railway staff quarters have also been revamped and now housed an upcoming new café @1932story, which retained its rustic look with the use of vintage furniture and a “train gallery” indoor dining area. So be it if you’re planning to get some workout done or exploring new places, the train station is definitely a great escape away from Singapore’s fast-paced urban scene. 😌
