Dongyang Yeomjeon Bakery Cafe is a large bakery cafe located in Yeongjongdo, Incheon. Often mentioned as a bustling cafe near Eulwang-ri, my wife and I stopped by one weekend morning. We arrived about 10 minutes after opening time and already many people were there. Centered around the concept of a salt farm, this cafe reproduces the historical salt farms of Incheon. It's on the way to Eulwang-ri making it a great spot to visit on a day out, with its spacious interior and an outdoor terrace with a shallow pond, offering a unique atmosphere.
The interior has a main building and an annex connected, focusing on comfort suitable for families rather than trendy sensibilities, even though the place was full. Visiting on a full stomach, the bread still looked delicious. There's a broad selection, making it a place not only great for couples on a date but also for families with children.

Coffee:
You can choose between two types of beans for your coffee - a nutty style or one with acidity.
I ordered an Americano with the latter, which reminded me of peach and had a pleasant floral acidity.

Music:
Dongyang Yeomjeon Bakery Cafe's music consists of the MelOn TOP100, a rare selection these days. On my visit, songs by Im Young Woong, NewJeans, and (G)I-DLE played, making it clear it was a current top hits list. Even though it's a space tailored for families, the choice of music seems to detract from the ambiance. It would have been better to choose easy listening or instrumental music to highlight the space further. The choice of music in such a popular place is regrettable.
