Hidden in Hapjeong Station is a cozy Japanese-style cafe called Kisaten, offering not only coffee and desserts but also simple meals. The atmosphere of the cafe, familiar from various Japanese dramas and media, is quite pleasing. From its exterior to its interior ambiance and menu, it truly feels like you've stepped into a Kisaten in Japan. The menu includes Japanese-style pasta like Napolitan, yakisoba, as well as coffee, alcohol, and desserts. A particular reason for wanting to visit was the banana brulee pudding. Served in a vintage silver dish, the caramelized banana and pudding topped with vanilla ice cream looks utterly delicious. The ice cream, banana, and pudding are all soft, which could be considered bland, but the sweet caramel highlights the charm of each component. A menu item that captures both taste and visuals! Highly recommended! Banana Brulee Pudding 7.5, Napolitan 12.0. Daily 11:30/Weekends 13:00 - 21:00 (Closed on Tuesdays) Located at 4-13 Yanghwa-ro 7-gil, Mapo-gu, Seoul.
