Seoullo 7017
Jung-gu, Seoul • Entertainment
Originally constructed as a roadway in 1970, the Seoul Station overpass was reborn in 2017 as a pedestrian path, marking the beginning of human-centered urban regeneration: Seoullo 7017. The '70' in 7017 symbolizes the year the overpass was created, and '17' represents both the year the park project was completed and the 17 pedestrian paths, as well as the overpass's height of 17 meters. It starts from Namdaemun Market, passes through Seoul Station, and connects Hoehyeon-dong with Jungnim-dong, becoming a popular lunchtime break spot for office workers.
