Sarnies is a place that has the most relaxed opening hours in Thailand that I know of, starting from 7AM - 10:30PM instead of the usual 10AM - 4:30PM. Sarnies serves both food and coffee menu, but this experience will focus on the coffee menu at the shop. The first thing that made me realize Sarnies in the heart of Bangkok is its very Japanese aesthetic. Sarnies carries a minimalist style, not focusing on adding extra details for decoration, instead, it's furnished with neat, square-shaped tables and wooden frames. The space is not too spacious but still has areas upstairs, outside, and inside, enough to accommodate individuals to groups of over 4 people. Back to the tasting part, I tried the DIRTY COFFEE and a Chocolate Pecan Tart, both of which are very delicious and satisfied me even though I chose them randomly. DIRTY COFFEE has 70% cold fresh milk with 30% Espresso, the coffee is extremely aromatic mixed with the coolness and creamy richness of fresh milk, quite unique, no wonder Dirty Coffee is highly recommended! And the Chocolate Pecan Tart is rich, eaten with a scoop of coffee ice cream placed on some crispy chocolate cookie crumbs, very appealing. Most of the drinks and pastries in Bangkok are of fairly uniform quality and eye-catching. I will definitely visit Sarnies again to enjoy the dinner menu one day soon, for a more complete experience.
