Discovered while exploring the Yeongnam Alps, this brewery is famous for its makgeolli. Visiting such a place is a worthwhile experience, not easily found unless one visits specific regions. The exterior of the brewery, with its ash and charcoal colors, changes mysteriously under the light, resembling a piece of art more than a brewery. It also serves as a communal space for locals, offering warmth and camaraderie. Inside, jars of fermenting makgeolli fill the space, with the sweet and sour scent of makgeolli lingering. Next to the brewery, there's 'Boksun Dogga Ju-mak,' a restaurant-style space where one can taste and purchase makgeolli. The traditional hand-made makgeolli here offers a unique flavor and carbonation unlike typical makgeollis. It is highly recommended for those planning a trip to Ulsan.
